I talk a lot about how much I love that my job brings me new friends. I love the people I meet and am even happier to make them photographs and memories that stand the test of time.

But the even better part of this job is that it also reconnects me to old friends.

Garett and I went to high school together, and there is just something so special about seeing someone you’ve known for a long, long time become a parent. Especially with someone like his wife, Abby.

It was wonderful to share a morning with them and photograph sweet baby Gage – relaxed and cozy.

Watch out world. There’s another GW.

As a boy mom (at least currently), I was pretty tickled that big sister Harper invited me to her tea party.

Just as tickled that mama Jasmin asked me to capture a few of these sweet fleeting moments of their family transitioning to a family of four.

This lifestyle type of shoot was perfect for the snowy day we were given.

It just made the coziness that you only get from a newborn that much more special.
