wichita senior photographer: alexis

Capturing this fleeting moment of one chapter almost completed and another about to begin,

and all the while, her mom wondering how one moment she was four years old and in the blink of an eye she’s 18.

Wishing Lexie all the best in the remainder of her senior year and in all her years to come.

The world is at your fingertips, lovely!

I’ve been photographing this family since their oldest was about the age their youngest was when we shot this session in the fall.

They are the best kinds of relaxed, effortless fun, and it’s such a pleasure and getting to document this season of life for them, time and time again.

Before they knew that their precious Vivienne was indeed a girl, before they saw her first smile, heard her little voice, and before they even laid eyes on her, they loved her.

A sweet maternity shoot in the quaintest orchard from a lovely night this past fall.

One of my best friends, Vanessa, with her husband Chris, each with their own little mini in Manhattan this past fall.

Weren’t we just in college buying $2 drinks in the Ville?!  Ha!

Love you guys.

I’m gearing up for a website refresh, and am slowly making my way through work shot last fall

when I was in deep with three littles at home and didn’t have time to blog.

I loved the series of sweet L girl and her mama in the woods in color and the black and white conversions,

and I fell hard for those shots again and just had to share.

ABOUT US

"It's a feeling."

One of the best ways I've heard my work described.

It's like a dream you can't quite get back to, but you know was so so good because when you woke up you had a smile on your face, and you keep trying desparately to remember all of the vivid details you can be present in that in-between state for just a little more  - the warmth of being together, the sounds, the laughter...the feelings.

Here's more on what our work together could be.
