wichita newborn photographer: micaela

This newborn at-home lifestyle session was everything you’re thinking it should be with four becoming five…

…loud and giggly, yet quiet and cuddly at the same time…bed jumping and bed cuddling…and proud beaming parents all along.

Welcome sweet baby girl Micaela!

Spitting image of his father, completely adored by his mother, and doted on by sister…when she wants to.  Ha.

The way four was meant to be.

This was one of those early summer mornings, where it’s still cool, but the sun is radiant, and it truly feels as warm (in a good way) and as lovely as it looks.

Perfect for sweet baby girl Elsie and her smitten mom and dad, truly as lovely as she looks.

I don’t know how I let it go so long, but I think that’s the worst unscheduled hiatus I’ve ever taken from this little blog space.

I’ve been working all along – shooting and editing and capturing gorgeous moments with gorgeous families, yet failing to share a slice of that with you.

Boo.

So before baby #3 arrives any day now, let’s look back at some of my favorite moments from the last two months.

Starting with my girl Liv and her family I adore.

It may still be monsooning on us in Wichita, but when the sun does pop out goodness it puts on a show against the lush green everywhere.

Adds even more spark to these brothers, if that’s even possible.

ABOUT US

"It's a feeling."

One of the best ways I've heard my work described.

It's like a dream you can't quite get back to, but you know was so so good because when you woke up you had a smile on your face, and you keep trying desparately to remember all of the vivid details you can be present in that in-between state for just a little more  - the warmth of being together, the sounds, the laughter...the feelings.

Here's more on what our work together could be.
