wichita baby photographer: lola

As a boy mom (at least currently), I was pretty tickled that big sister Harper invited me to her tea party.

Just as tickled that mama Jasmin asked me to capture a few of these sweet fleeting moments of their family transitioning to a family of four.

This lifestyle type of shoot was perfect for the snowy day we were given.

It just made the coziness that you only get from a newborn that much more special.

Henry’s back!

Oh my word, he is a spitting image of his mama, and just such a good boy.

We met at the end of the day when babies can sometimes not be so fond of the idea of a photo shoot, but he was almost entirely all smiles and definitely had me swooning over his sweet eyes.

I’m sure I haven’t been the first.

16 years.

They’ve been together 16 years!

In some ways, you can tell.

How at ease they are with each other.  How they look at each other.

But, there’s still freshness in their interactions too.

16 years looks great on you guys.

Kiana,

I’m so in awe of you.

You are such an inspiring woman.  At 18, you are more put together, driven and ambitious than most adults I know.

I feel lucky to be in your life, and am so excited to see where your journey takes you.

It’s going to be a ride.

wichita family photographer: the kellers

I know it’s been a good shoot when I find myself bragging about this family to people that have no idea who they are.

The nicest family – of all boys.

The sweetest boys.

With the cutest names – Pete, Nate and Gary.

And the icing on the cake?

I had the hardest time choosing my favorites to share here…because I liked soo many of them.

Can we play super heroes again?  Made my night.

ABOUT US

"It's a feeling."

One of the best ways I've heard my work described.

It's like a dream you can't quite get back to, but you know was so so good because when you woke up you had a smile on your face, and you keep trying desparately to remember all of the vivid details you can be present in that in-between state for just a little more  - the warmth of being together, the sounds, the laughter...the feelings.

Here's more on what our work together could be.
