wichita maternity photographer: the best

It’s something else watching your best friend experiencing becoming a mama.  You want to tell her everything to prepare her as best as she could be, yet you can’t.  Somethings are left out because you can’t possibly find the words to describe how much she is going to love that little boy about to enter the world.  Somethings are left out because she’ll have to find her own way and learn on her own.  Somethings are left out because it’s honestly better not knowing before hand.

Two weekends ago before her shower we were talking about the day of when little baby boy Dawson will enter the world, and how she and Chris hope it goes, and what they expect and what they’ll feel.

I didn’t know how else to describe it, except for simply saying, “it’s the best.”

Love you guys.

"It's a feeling."

One of the best ways I've heard my work described.

It's like a dream you can't quite get back to, but you know was so so good because when you woke up you had a smile on your face, and you keep trying desparately to remember all of the vivid details you can be present in that in-between state for just a little more  - the warmth of being together, the sounds, the laughter...the feelings.

Here's more on what our work together could be.
