As a first-time mom (and soon-to-be a second time mom), one of the most important things I learned is to follow my baby’s cues.  Sometimes our agendas don’t align and instead of forcing it, you just have to embrace it.

Beautiful Elizabeth gave us her cues on Saturday, and so after a few quick cuddly, sleepy shots, we settled into a newborn lifestyle shoot, utilizing all of the lovely light-filled rooms of her new Kansas home.

Special memories for her parents for sure.
