These are quickly becoming my favorite sessions to shoot.
Maybe it’s because of the season.
The winter weather – more times full of grey skies and biting temperatures – isn’t exactly conducive to happy-kiddo shoots outdoors.
But more so because of what they’ll mean in the days, weeks, and years to come.
A snapshot of the way a family lives and loves, within the walls most sacred to them.
Where they share meals together, secrets together, dreams and realities together.
They open their door and hearts to me, and I do the same for them, pouring myself into capturing the moments that matter most, yet are often overlooked in the monotony of day-to-day.
